Non-Profit Festival Launches Kickstarter For New Tropical Location
A new festival start-up called MANANA Festival is currently seeking funding via Kickstarter to open their gates in 2016 with a tropical event based out of Cuba. In their own words, MANANA is "a non-profit festival connecting Afro-Cuban Folkloric music with the pioneers of the International Electronic music community." The event will take place in Santiago, Cuba, if the crowd sourcing campaign reaches it's goal in time.
The festival aims to introduce international electronic fans to the intensely rhythmic music of Afro-Cuban folkloric music. According to their Kickstarter page, MANANA Festival only needs to sell 500 tickets in order to fully fund the event. At this time, they have raised over $2,700 of their total $60,000 goal.
You can pledge your support to the Kickstarter campaign here, and in doing so you will be eligible to receive an assortment of different products.
