Guitar Center has a strong history of making progressive strides in musical artistry through providing accessibility to instruments, technology, and education. Despite the name, they are not shying away from the electronic dance community and are making moves with their "Cover Me" program.
For the latest edition, Guitar Center teamed up with Zedd and sent out the call for producers, bands, and solo musicians to submit their best cover of "I Want You To Know" featuring Selena Gomez, which spent four weeks at No. 1 on Billboard’s Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.
After numerous submissions, Zedd sat down and personally selected a talented young producer named Scout. The turntablist turned full-time producer caught Zedd's attention with an intoxicating future-bass remix that is propelling the Seattle native to the frontlines of the global dance music arena. Zedd loved the track so much, it was released on Interscope Records in September [Listen Here], and Scout was invited back to remix Zedd's "Beautiful Now" featuring Jon Bellion.
