Voodoo Fest Cancels Final Day Due To Dangerous Weather

In yet another case of festival vs. mother nature, Voodoo Music + Arts Experience has been forced to cancel the final day of their three day event, citing dangerous weather. Putting safety as their first priority, the festival's organizers decided to forego the grand finale events as heavy rainfall and flash flood warnings persisted in the Orleans Parish today. The producers for the event stated that the current conditions at venue City Park did not meet their standards of safety.

Refund options will be available for ticket holders, depending on the package they originally purchased. 3-day ticket holders will receive a refund for 1/3 the value of their purchase, while 1 day ticket holder swill receive a full refund. Cancelled performances for today include deadmau5, Eric Prydz, Chance the Rapper and the Zac Brown Band.
