Steve Angello Gets Inducted into BBC Radio 1 Hall of Fame
Fresh off of releasing the first chapter of his debut solo album, Wild Youth, Steve Angello was just inducted into the Pete Tong Hall of Fame. The Greek-Swedish producer/DJ and former member of Swedish House Mafia made a special appearance on BBC Radio 1 in honor of the occasion and reminisced with Pete Tong on his first influences, earliest dance party days, the first Swedish House Mafia record and more.
"I feel like I've been part of something that's really amazing. I get so humbled by the fact that I could live through something like that. I never thought it would be possible. I think for us it meant more than anything to give back and to kind of bring those big shows that we did... because that was the benefit of being Swedish House Mafia. We all had solo careers. We were all doing 150-160 shows each a year. So once we came together we could spend all of the money that we were making on the show."

The Gouryella live world tour will take place in 2016.
"Throughout my career, wherever I’ve played in the world, one question that continues to crop up from the fans is when I am going to bring Gouryella back. I’ve always been incredibly touched by the love and appetite they’ve shown this side of my musical career. For the last 4 maybe 5 years I’ve been thinking about bringing Gouryella back but just haven’t been able to find the right production when I was in the studio, that was until ‘Anahera’, after the feedback from the fans on this latest Gouryella track. I know it was time!"
