Giorgio Moroder and Skrillex collab on Tron Video Game Soundtrack

In 2010, Daft Punk provided the earth-shattering soundtrack and original orchestral score for the action film, Tron: Legacy. In an interview with Clash, Giorgio Moroder revealed that he is ready to tackle the Tron series by writing the soundtrack for the new video game. With his funky synths and disco sounds, it's no surprise that Disney deemed Moroder's music fit to represent Tron. On top of his first album in almost thirty years and endless collaborations with some of dance music’s hottest names, Moroder reached out to Skrillex to help him with the video game soundtrack. “We have about five themes, electronic stuff and let’s see if [he’s] interested in remixing or re-working one of the songs," he told Clash.

In addition to these huge projects, the producer hinted at yet another potential original scoring opportunity but wasn’t prepared to reveal it just yet. Giorgio Moroder is also known for having scored Scarface, American Gigolo, and Flashdance
