Alesso Previews New Single with Roy English Titled 'Cool'
Soon after the release of "Tear the Roof Up," “Heroes (We Could Be)” featuring pop sensation Tove Lo is the second single off of Alesso’s forthcoming debut album. Set to be his first-ever release on Def Jam Records, it was arguably Alesso’s biggest single release yet.
The track received radio airplay all over the world, and successfully crossed-over from dance music into the mainstream, dominating top 100 charts all over the world and Billboard’s US Hot Dance Club chart. The release cemented his status as a successful crossover producer, and set the bar high for the rest of his debut album and his upcoming releases.
The next single off of the Swedish superstar’s album, “Cool,” was premiered last night by Pete Tong, and it features the vocals of Roy English. If “Heroes” was Alesso’s introduction into the pop world, then “Cool” announced to the world that the Swedish producer was here to stay. The record is a progressive house anthem with English’s alluring vocals that are only further bolstered by the brilliant piano melodies and talented synth work of Alesso’s production. The track is set to be released February 16th, but you can check out the single below.
