Detroit Teen Running His Own Vinyl Record Label
16-year-old Jarett Koral doesn't bother with typical teenage shenanigans. Instead, he spends his time pressing vinyls for Macaulay Culkin's band The Pizza Underground. From the comfort of his parent's house in the suburbs of Detroit, Koral founded Jett Plastic Recordings in 2012 at the tender age of fourteen.
Now, two years later, his label has released music for over a dozen artists, including the aforementioned Culkin and veteran Motor City musician Bootsey X, both of whom also use Koral's imprint as a distributor for their music as well. Watch the video below to learn more about Jarett Koral's ventures and how he managed to pull off becoming the youngest record exec ever.
