Madeon's video for "Pay No Mind," the funky, upbeat single off of his upcoming album, Adventure, has just hit the interwebs. The track, which features indie pop band Passion Pit was released earlier in the month, and the video provides the second installment of a trilogy based around fictional characters set against a surreal, futuristic backdrop. For a three-and-a-half-minute video with no audible dialog, their personalities are impressively nuanced.

"The video is the second installment of a trilogy focused on a young woman, Asteria, and a young man, Icarus," states the official press release. "Set in a remote city, in an undefined future, Asteria is restless to see more of the outside world. She finds a friend in Icarus, who shares her desire of leaving."

In addition to captivating CGI effects and cinematography, the story features otherworldly cityscapes and its own unique alphabet, among other inventive devices. Text at the end of the video reads "to be continued," teasing at a third and final installment of the engaging story.

The rest of Madeon's debut album, Adventure, is slated for release on March 31 with an accompanying tour beginning at the Regency Theater in San Fransisco on April 10.
