Flume Nominated For 'Dance Work Of The Year' In Australian Award Ceremony

After a heartbreaking announcement that had Flume departing from the Australian future trap duo What So Not, the artist was nominated for "Dance Work Of The Year" at this year's APRA Music Awards. The nomination was issued for his collaboration with Chet Falker on "Drop The Game" and will be announced on March 24th.

Dance Work of the Year
The Aston Shuffle - 'Tear It Down'
Flume & Chet Faker - 'Drop The Game'
Joel Fletcher feat. Savage - 'Swing (Joel Fletcher remix)'
Neon Jungle - 'Braveheart'
Peking Duk - 'High' (feat. Nicole Millar)

Rumors have been spreading that Flume left What So Not because of the success of his solo career, and this nomination would certainly provide evidence for that assumption, although there has been no definitive statement on his reasoning other than a difference in creative direction.
