The 3rd single to be released off Alesso’s debut album, “Cool,” was previewed a few short weeks ago, and now the official music video has arrived.

A departure from the forward-thinking video that his single, “Tear the Roof Up,” received, the music video for “Cool” takes Alesso back to his high school days in the 80s, transforming the Swedish superstar from a worldwide music sensation to an ultra geek making his way through a California high school. The video, which was directed by Emil Nava, shows a different side of Alesso. As he makes his way through high school daydreaming about teachers, moon-walking the hallway and practicing his moves for the big dance, it becomes apparent that Alesso is a bit of a character.

With three singles off of his forthcoming album already unveiled, it’s only a matter of time until Alesso announces the release date or even the name of his album. Until then, we’ll be holding our breath.
