Deadmau5 Joins Metallica and Mumford & Sons at Reading and Leeds Festival
With festival season rapidly approaching, lineup announcements are occurring almost daily. One of the oldest, most popular music festivals in the world, the Reading and Leeds Festival, has begun to announce their 2015 lineup through a series of short announcement videos. The Reading and Leeds Festival is the longest running festival series in the world, having been around since the 1960s. Getting its start as a National Jazz Festival, the Reading Festival is the senior of the two festivals, and in its 50-year existence, the popular festival has expanded into two locations, Reading and Leeds. The massively-popular festival books acts from nearly every genre, and is considered one of the premiere festivals in the world.
The 2015 rendition of the festival will feature headliners Metallica, Mumford & Sons and deadmau5. Also joining the party at the Reading and Leeds Festival are Bastille, Run the Jewels, and Hannah Wants. More artists are expected to be announced in the coming months.
