The ex-Krewella bandmate, Rain Man, has resurfaced at the start of 2015 with the announcement of solo performances that commenced on March 16th at the Borgore house party. Within the same week, the producer committed to displaying his independence by releasing his first solo track since the great Krewella Schism of 2014.
"Visionary" is a midtempo bass bomb that takes cues from breakbeat and moombahton with some half-time trap stylings to round out the first drop. The track is an excellent display of Rain Man's willingness to depart from the electro/dubstep sound that defined his previous career. It is only fitting that he connected with a female vocalist, Sirah, that states, "I'm a fucking visionary nah nah / but they brush me off / If I was dead would they love me then or / would I be forgot?"
