Pioneers of '90s breakbeat/hardcore The Prodigy just released a banger as the new single from their upcoming album scheduled to release on March 30, 2015. The venom-filled track "Wall of Death" melds in-your-face lyrics and signature heavy metal stylings against a raw and unyielding electronic backdrop. The single goes to show that the 6th studio album, The Day is My Enemy, promises to pack a ferocious punch that will not disappoint fans of the legendary group.

“This record is definitely violent," founding member Liam Howlett said in an interview. "I only use music for one reason, I want it to attack me. I don’t know what a mellow Prodigy would sound like. The band only operates in one mode. And on this album it’s in full-on mode.”

The Prodigy will be unveiling more from the new album next week at the Future Music Festival in Australia. Then they'll be setting out on a huge run of shows in May that will include two sold-out nights at London's Alexandra Palace. Fans will also be able to catch the group this summer at UK festivals including Isle of Wight Festival and T in the Park.
