During a performance at the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, Steve Aoki debuted a collaboration with Linkin Park called "Horizons." Among the tracks to be released on his upcoming album, Neon Future II, "Horizons" is Aoki's second collaboration with the Agoura Hills, CA-based alt-rock outfit that rose to fame at the turn of the millennium.
Both Aoki and Linkin Park are known to follow tried-and-true formulas with their music, and "Horizons" is no exception. Aoki lightly sprinkled hoover synths and atmospheric effects over the verses, which were written in the same key as other Linkin Park songs like "New Divide" - and even their 2013 Steve Aoki collaboration, "Waiting for a Light that Never Comes."
