There’s no denying Porter Robinson made 2014 his year. With the release of his highly-anticipated Worlds album and accompanying worldwide tour by the same name, Robinson took the world by storm. Now, the talented producer has another piece of hardware for the trophy case as he took home the top honors at this year’s mtvU Woodie Awards, which was held at SXSW. Robinson won the Woodie of the Year, beating out FKA Twigs, J. Cole, Charlie XCX, Run the Jewels, and Grammy-winner, Sam Smith, for the award. Following his tremendous win, Robinson took the stage at the Mad Decent showcase for an unexpected DJ set.
