Osheaga Releases Full Lineup for 10th Anniversary of Festival
Montreal's Osheaga Festival Musique Et Arts (Osheaga Music and Arts Festival) just released the lineup for its 10th anniversary edition - a bill with EDM representation that features a healthy balance of both mainstream and obscure acts. The festival will be bringing well-known acts including Oliver Heldens, Cashmere Cat and Kygo, as well as niche artists like Caribou, Bob Moses and Klangkarussel to round out the festivities of the three-day event.
Osheaga, so named by event founder Nick Farkas after the title of the region that is now Montreal, was originally meant to showcase the rich independent music scene of the area as well as incorporate touring acts. As music from the UK and other parts of Europe often reaches Canada's major cities before those of the United States, its identity in the dance music world is undeniable. Osheaga's lineup only promises to reinforce it.
