Youtube Pulls The Ultimate EDM April Fool's Gag

April Fool's is the one day of the year websites and media can completely misplace the power of the internet for the sake of comedy. Those more initiated in this honorary holiday celebrating shrewdness can appreciate the amount of creativity put into these pranks. 

Youtube has quite a track record of April Fool's pranks. One of YouTube's most memorable jokes was in 2013 when the site reported it would shut down. For this year's foolery, Youtube has added a new button, a music note icon to "Add music," on every video on the site, which adds short sound bites from the classic EDM track "Sandstorm" by Darude. Youtube went the extra mile with an automated response that reads "Did you mean: Darude - Sandstorm by Darude," which pops up when users search any artist (yes, any artist at all).
