Festival season unwraps all sorts of unexpected surprises. The first weekend of Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival is currently underway with the first night featuring performances from Alesso, DJ Snake, Axwell /\ Ingrosso, and many more. Coachella attendees got a taste of some new Porter Robinson material during his set at the Sahara Tent with the debut of a remix of Nero’s “The Thrill.”

Check out a rip of the new Porter Robinson remix below.

Porter Robinson’s remix of “The Thrill” sounds like it came straight out of his 2014 album Worlds with dreamy synths, aggressive levels of bass, and the recognizable video game-like sounds that could only be created by Robinson himself. The remix accentuates the original vocals from Nero, yet adds a completely new vibe to the track. You can hear the fans going crazy in the crowd from the Coachella rip, showing that Robinson still has his touch of gold when producing new music.

Although there is no word as to when the remix will be released, or if it will even be released at all, EDM.com will keep you posted on Porter Robinson and other Coachella acts as they unveil new material.

You can watch the Coachella live stream here.
