5 Tropical House Tracks To Set The Tone For Summer

1) “Seaside” by The Kooks (Boehm Remix)

This trop house rework by Boehm is seriously a must when setting the mood for summer. The main chorus of "Seaside" by The Kooks sings "I fell in love with the seaside," constituting this track as a perfect summer tune. The Romanian producer glides through the remix with beachy vibes, playful drums and an uplifting flute element that wraps up the entire production perfectly.

3) “The Nights” by Avicii (Mau Kilauea’s Tropical Remix)

One of the biggest names in electronic dance music history has received a tropical house revamp so pure you can almost feel the warmth of the sunshine and the summer breeze. Avicii's "The Nights" from his 2014 EP The Days/Nights can now be experienced in a tropical setting. The natural vibes of Mau Kilauea's tropical remix serves the tastes of the summer season Avicii-style. This tropical-injected mainstage anthem is a perfect fit for any summer festivity. 

4) “Sexual Healing” by Marvin Gaye (Kygo Remix)

Would it really be summer without Kygo's historic tropical house tribute to Marvin Gaye's "Sexual Healing?" With over 15 million streams on SoundCloud, it's safe to say that this timeless track isn't going anywhere. For the ultimate summer vibes, the Norweigan producer's reimagination of "Sexual Healing" is pure magic. With its bouncy drums and feel good synths, this sensual summer anthem never gets old. 

5) “Sun Models” by ODESZA feat. Madelyn Grant (Elkoe Remix)

Canadian producer Elkoe has found his way to a far off tropical destination in his trop house resurrection of ODESZA's "Sun Models." Elkoe captured the essence of summer as he fuses vocal slices with uplifting piano and beachy drums. Coming off ODESZA's album In Return, "Sun Models" featuring vocals from Madelyn Grant is a supreme summer jam. This relaxing track is prime for posting up at the pool on a sunny day.
