Instead of simply announcing his new album True Colors and promoting it traditionally, Zedd has launched an innovative campaign to give dozens of fans the experience of a lifetime. From taking fans on a hot air balloon in Phoenix to throwing a cave party for them during SXSWZedd's ultra special event series is not only letting fans party with Zedd but also gives them the exclusive opportunity to preview a song from the upcoming album. For this next stop, Zedd took 50 fans from San Francisco, California somewhere no one would have expected... 

That's right... Alcatraz! Zed took fans to sea and ferried them to the infamous island and National Historic Landmark for a day they won't soon forget. And there was also a special guest: Professional skateboarder Tony Hawk! 

The San Francisco event was the fourth installment of Zedd's uniquely creative promotional campaign for his upcoming album True Colors. Each song on his sophomore album is associated with a color, which inspires the theme and location for each exclusive party. 10 songs, 10 colors, 10 cities, 10 distinct locations. 

For each of the 10 events, fans can compete in a scavenger hunt by finding and snapping a photo with six "Z" insignias. The first 50 fans to finish are immediately escorted into limousine buses and taken to a secret location for what's sure to be one of the most memorable experiences of their lives.
