Check Out This Missed Connections Site For Festival Goers

Let’s say you’re at an incredible show or festival. You’re vibing with the music and the scene and, all of a sudden, you find yourself talking to a stranger. Whether it’s a romantic spark or you instantly feel like best friends, it blows your mind how connected you feel in that moment. But before you know it, the night is over and that new festie friend is nowhere to be found. Maybe you got their name, or a picture with them, but you forgot to get their number. And alas, you’re left wondering if you’ll ever see him or her again or if they will forever be the one that got away.

Two employees at Burner, the company centered around making communications more private, decided to make it easier for attendees of Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival to find that special someone. Using the Burner platform, these two clever programmers launched a site dedicated to missed connections. It appears to have been launched on April 14, 2015 after the conclusion of the first weekend of the festival, but will also be available for second weekend goers to find their lost festie loves.

It’s fairly simple; all you have to do is call or text the hotline, (442) 300-3113, leaving either a voicemail, text description or picture and cross your fingers!

While some take it seriously and have some epic stories, we can't help but enjoy the clever ones that have a little fun with it. Below are some of our favorite posts from the site so far...

Check it out here if you are looking for the one that got away!
