Kill Paris Releases Debut Album ‘Galaxies Between Us’

The Boulder, Colorado native Kill Paris is flying onto the scene with the release of his debut album Galaxies Between Us. The 10-track album is a melodic illustration of his past year, reflecting on his frustrations with the industry and honing his own craft. Galaxies Between Us takes listeners on a journey through "space music," or his the unique blend of funky synths, driving basslines, and futuristic disco sounds. Kill Paris maintains an otherworldly vision with each of the 10 tracks in his LP. Galaxies Between Us is a storytelling album where future meets vintage.

"This album was a leap of faith for me. I decided to give it away for free because I want to give something back to the fans, which I am forever in-debt to for the life they've afforded me. I took time off the road to really capture the emotions I've been feeling rather than just try to make something that's gonna bang in the club.”

Galaxies Between Us is filled with glitchy bass and futuristic funk tracks, such as the first release “Space Forest,” or the lead single off the LP “Operate” featuring vocals from Royal. “Space Forest” is a futuristic, heavy chill fusion with dreamy synths and a chilling melody. It was the first single released off Galaxies Between Us, serving as the initial focal point of the LP. "Operate" is one of the few tracks on the instrumental-based album to incorporate any form of lyrics. The funky synths and groovy basslines bring Royal's vocals to the forefront into a coalescence of sounds. In efforts to give fans quality and unique music for free, Kill Paris has dropped his debut album as a free release for fans via his own record label Sexy Electric
