Major Lazer, the side project of hip-hop/trap pioneer Diplo, just kicked off a cartoon series on FXX. To celebrate, the group just released the track "Night Riders" with a little help from some talented and high-profile friends. The star-studded track features the likes of Pusha T, 2 Chainz, Travis Scott and Jamaican reggae musician Mad Cobra.

The cartoon, which Diplo himself describes as an extension of the Major Lazer style, has been in the works for long enough that its premiere ought to hold up on its own, but the collaborative cross-pollination between the artists featured on "Night Riders" perhaps made for even more of a slam dunk.
