Jay Z's New Company Loses Its CEO Just Weeks After Launch
Jay Z purchased Aspiro B, the company that owns the streaming service TIDAL, and turned it into a collaborative project with artists including Daft Punk, deadmau5 and Calvin Harris. Less than a month after the project was launched, the new music streamer hit a major roadblock with the CEO of TIDAL, Andy Chen, leaving the company as CEO. Reasons for his departure remain unknown, and former TIDAL CEO Peter Tonstad will take up the mantle until a permanent replacement is decided.
