R&B and soul music grew popular in the '70s due in large part because of Soul Train, a TV show that featured dance parties and performances from the genres' biggest stars. It's quite surprising an EDM equivalent hasn't been considered until now. A new Youtube series aims to update the ideas behind Soul Train for an EDM audience. The suitably-titled Rave Train debuts with three episodes, which incorporate dancing, light toys and gear, and a focus on highlighting a new performer in each episode. The episodes thus far cover dubstep and electro, techno, and trance DJs, all stemming from the series' partnership with 411 Music Group.
