Noisecontrollers Reinvents Hardstyle Once Again
Noisecontrollers is one of the most iconic names in Hardstyle. Although the project originally started as a duo, Bas Oskam has recently taken the helms on the project and taken it to new heights. Noisecontrollers has been responsible for anthems for the biggest Hardstyle festivals on the planet, toured through America and Australia, and is already responsible for one solo album that came out last year.
Bas created some pretty serious hype after his announcement in the beginning of April, setting a countdown timer on his site to a special release. Speculation of a new album grew over the coming weeks, and now, we are very happy to announce that Noisecontrollers has a new album concept en route - All Night Long.
All Night Long will be an album that covers a wide spectrum of music. Bas says the album will be predominantly Hardstyle, around 80%. However, Bas also explores Trance, Dubstep, Progressive, Drum & Bass, and orchestral compositions in his new release. It will have a very serious sound, with a lot of harmonies and experimentation. Bas’ primary focus this time around is taking the sound design of his work to the next level.
“I didn’t want to go mainstream with the album, so I only did it with the main track” says Bas, in regards to the album. “It’s really an album for the fans, - it will contain a lot of unreleased older tracks I’ve reworked into a modern style. The album contains a lot of studio materials.” The lead track, “All Night Long”, will be a track for the summer & festivals, and the rest of the album will dive into the deep, experimental, underground world of Hardstyle.
The album will contain collaborations with Bass Modulators & Wildstylez. One of the tracks, “Rocked Up”, has already been released and featured on our Hardstyle channel.
In addition to “Rocked Up,” the album will contain a collab with Bas’ long time colleague Wildstylez. These two try to get in the studio at least once a year, and this time they’ve produced a track that will be featured on both of their upcoming albums.
Noisecontrollers is one of the most influential names in Hardstyle, and once again, he’s getting ready to raise the bar on production and change the game once again. The full album will be available for a worldwide release on June 1st.
