Listen To Giorgio Moroder's Collaboration With Britney Spears
The father of disco does it again. Giorgio Moroder may be 74, but right now he's ramping up for the release of a new album entitled Déjà Vu, which will be his first album in 30 years. The album features some pretty prominent vocalists, including Sia, Charli XCX, Matthew Koma and more contributing their talents.
One of the most interesting songs on the album, though, is Moroder's cover of the 80's hit "Tom's Diner" by Suzanne Vega. He recruited the help of Britney Spears, and the result is actually fantastic. Her voice is auto-tuned, but in this case it lends itself to the original's unique feel, echoing over the track's quick-paced progression.
Déjà Vu will be released June 12, 2015 on RCA Records. You can listen to "Tom's Diner" below!
