Daft Punk has shaped electronic dance music, appeared in movies and music videos, directed films and collaborated with music's most elite. One fan decided it's time for the legendary duo to be immortalized into a Lego set.

This fan, going by the username Autorazrpetitioned for the Daft Punk set via the Lego Ideas platform. Since its inception in 2013, the petition has reached 10,000 supporters strong. Now, it sits in the evaluation stage, in which a review board will decide whether the project will be selected to become the next Lego Ideas product.

If the project is selected, it will go into manufacturing and ship to stores where it will be available for purchase. Autorazr would be credited as the creator and even receive a portion of sales.

This is actually not the first time a Daft Punk fan has attempted the toy feat. Another fan by the username Artlock created a Daft Punk Lego Ideas project in 2014, but it never made it to the review board. Here's to hoping the initial project gets selected!
