Ten Things to Look Forward to at Euphoria Festival
Spring is in the air, and Austin, Texas is all about it. After an explosive SXSW comes a weekend of dance music and camping at Carson Creek Ranch, through Euphoria Festival. Out of the endless reasons to be excited, we have outlined ten specific things to look forward to at this festival.
Fresh off a trip to India, Derek Vincent Smith and crew are sure to bring the heat to Austin, Texas as a headling act of the festival. Prep yourself by checking out the latest in the Hot Sh*t series!
Producer/DJ Contest Winner Performances
The winner of the producer and DJ contest will both be awarded a time slot to perform on the Euphoria Mainstage in addition to receiving Ableton Live software, a Traktor S4 controller for the DJ winner and the ultimate hospitality and credential hook up. Their performances will likely be one of their most coveted to date, so you better believe that these sets are going to bring it for the audience.
This year, there are going to be a variety of vendors at this year’s festival. From authentic Texas BBQ to organic treats and pizza, everything you would want to munch on during a festival will likely be there. You can even grab some fresh veggies from Johnson’s Backyard. Additionally, you’ll be able to utilize camping cooking stations with shared grills available in the campgrounds.
LilyPad Tent Rentals
If you are like me, you probably don’t embrace “roughing it” as much as your cohorts do. Have no fear though, because LilyPad tent rentals are to the rescue. All you have to do is reserve your tent for the weekend, and it will be all set up for you upon your arrival. The tents are prepared for parties of two to four people with the option of having cots or queen beds. Talk about glamping. Get your own LilyPad here.
What better way to prepare your body for a day of dancing than an early morning yoga session? Stretch your body out after rolling out of your tent, and then head back to the stages for another day of fun!
Grabbing Camping Gear via Project Shelter
For those who travel light or are flying in without any checked bags, this is definitely the way to go in getting all your camping supplies together. You can pre-order everything you need, head over to the Euphoria General Store when you are on-site and pick your materials up will-call style. At the conclusion of the festival, you are able to donate any of your unwanted equipment to refugees and the homeless, having the option to keep what you want. Campers can choose to pre-order anything from consumables and toiletries, air mattresses and pads, camping furniture, sleeping bags, lighting gear and accessories like batteries and coolers. This one-stop shop makes camping so much easier to execute. Check out details about the service here.
Tree Tents and Hammock Lounge
Campers can look forward to relaxing amongst the forest in hammocks and tree tents provided by Bakpocket and Tentsile. They will be offering interactive setups for campers who want to escape the music for a little bit and get in touch with the nature around them. Tentsiles are eco-friendly tents that are strung up amongst trees and are ideal for lounging off of the ground. It is essentially, the world’s first portable tree house.
Following the Fun
Whether or not you are able to attend, follow the tag #EMCF15, which is sure to be full of FOMO-inducing pictures, posts and videos centering on the festival.
Big Gigantic's Addition to the Line Up

Being in Austin, Texas
As the live music capital of the world, there is really no better place to get a dose of your favorite live acts. Spring has just sprung, and beautiful days in this vibrant city keep rolling in. If you’re coming from out of town, you would be well advised to bring any sort of allergy medicines you have at your disposal with you, because the pollen game here is pretty serious. You’ve been warned! Other than that, get excited for all the BBQ, food trucks, and cheap drinks this friendly city has to offer!
