House Music Film Featuring Daft Punk Comes To The U.S.

French film director, screenwriter and actor, Mia Hansen-Løve, is the brains behind the film Eden, a film that is a “tribute to house music.” Eden has been screened in countries around the world, but is just now arriving in the States for its summer debut. It will initially screen in New York and Los Angeles, then make its way to other cities within the US. Check out the trailer below...

The film is written by Mia and her brother Sven Løve, who was an integral part of shaping the French Touch house music scene in the 1990s. This placed him in the same cohort as Daft Punk members Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo and Thomas Bangalter, who licensed three tracks for the film’s use and are portrayed in the film as well.eAs you can imagine, Eden has a pretty solid soundtrack. It features music not only from Daft Punk, but also from Frankie Knuckles, Kings of Tomorrow and Octave One to name a few. As homage to the dance scene, this is a must-see movie for EDM fans.
