Apple Streaming Service Will Allow Fans To Interact With Artists
Apple is reportedly planning to merge social networking with music streaming in their new subscription based service Apple Music. The tool will give listeners the ability to interact with their favorite artists via landing pages where musicians can share photos, videos and concert listings.
Users will be able to follow artists and comment directly to their pages using their iTunes credentials. The platform allows artists to cross-promote each other and gives them the ability to upload content that is available to users who haven’t chosen to opt-in to the paid subscription platform. The new service is expected to maintain the $9.99 per month price point of Beats Music, which is also owned by Apple.
