deadmau5 Teams Up With Street Artist Greg Mike To Paint Mural In Miami

In the weeks leading up to Ultra Music Festival '14 in Miami, deadmau5 partnered with the water sports company, SeaDoo, for their #SPARKSOMEFUN campaign, to promote the launch of SeaDoo’s newest product, the Spark. From March 14 - 24, 2014, SeaDoo’s team took over South Beach, alongside three artists, Greg Mike, Dabs Myla, and ABSTRK, who were commissioned to paint murals in the Wynwood District of Miami.

Greg Mike, who owns and operates ABV Agency and Art Gallery in Atlanta GA, spraypainted a mural in the Wynwood district features his signature character, Larry Loudmouf, surfing around a mischievous deadmau5 on a Sea-Doo. In addition to their murals, the artists were commissioned to create two unique deadmau5 helmets, which were worn by Sea-Doo riders as they roamed the waters of South Beach and Miami. The week culminated with a giant deadmau5 sandcastle on the shores of South Beach, which attracted fans who were vying for a ticket to an exclusive closing concert by deadmau5.
