The electronic music world has been up in arms over some hot-button issues as of late thanks to certain outspoken producers like Mat Zo, who used his Twitter account to voice his concerns over how EDM has changed. Enter Gareth Emery, a trance producer and DJ who continues to uphold his core sound despite the trend of trance producers turning to trouse or house. The producer decided to voice his opinion on yet another issue, however, as he posted a lengthy call to action on his Facebook page, asking promoters and club owners to give DJs longer sets so that they can more accurately convey their musical visions.

He coupled this post with a tour announcement, a three-city tour that will find Emery playing an extended set from open to close at each venue. Named after his radio show, the Electric For Life tour will hit New York City, London and Los Angeles this November.
