Watch As Funny Or Die Sends 70-Something-Year-Olds To Their First Music Festival Ever [VIDEO]
Music festivals primarily draw younger crowds, with many attendees falling somewhere in the 18-25 age range. People in this age range keep up with the latest trends in music, receive more free time while attending school and/or working entry-level jobs, and save up money to attend music festivals. As opposed to following the normal festival-goer during the 2015 edition of Bonnaroo, comedy website Funny Or Die decided to chart the experiences of five older people who had never been to a music festival before.
Funny Or Die partnered with Bonnaroo organizer Superfly for the video, capturing four attendees who were over the age of 70. Bonnaroo 2015 was the first music festival for each of these guests, and the video does a hilarious job in documenting their reactions to the various hallmarks of Bonnaroo. The gang checks out the Silent Disco, watches some acts during the late night blocks, and even gets invited on stage by rock band Guster.
