Bud Light Digital Dreams music festival has canceled all performances for today in the interest of public safety. The festival made the announcement today via facebook explaining that their goal is to protect their fans and performances.

The following weather update was then provided by the festival shortly after the initial announcement.

The concern over safety stems from weather related issues Toronto is facing over the weekend, including heavy rainfall. Cancelled acts from Digital Dreams opening day include Armin van Buuren, Steve Angello and Porter Robinson.

The festival will continue as planned for Sunday June 28 starting 2 pm, and partial refunds are being granted to those who purchased two day tickets, while those who had only purchased tickets for Saturday will receive a full refund. Sunday’s performances include Zedd, Martin Garrix, Excision, Datsik, Zomboy, and more.
