Markus Schulz Reveals Tomorrowland-Inspired 'Daybreak' ID
Earlier in the year, Markus Schulz announced his ambitious City Series, a project that has seen the producer release a single inspired by the culture of a different city he is set to perform at for different tour dates along his tour. Schulz has been teasing fans with an ID in his live sets, which is now revealed to be "Daybreak," a track that will be available on July 20.
"Daybreak" has been given the subtitle Boom, named after the Dutch city in Belgium where Schulz will be performing at this year's Tomorrowland. The new track is a straight trance production, featuring a driving beat that pulls the huge synth melodies along the pulsating bass hits.
Schulz employs a constant spraying of white noise throughout the track, along with hard-hitting snare fills to give the rhythms variance. The middle of the track sees the production break down into an awe-inspiring series of arpeggiated synths as the track gradually builds the energy back up into an exciting conclusion.
