Steve Aoki Drops 'Neon Future' Music Video & Announces New Sci-Fi Movie Project

Steve Aoki and Luke Steele of Empire of the Sun have just dropped the music video for their collaborative effort on "Neon Future," the title track from Aoki's two part album series. The video is directed by Mike Harris of Lord Danger and continues the futuristic concepts of Aoki's other videos produced in the Neon Future era.

The video opens as Luke Steele serenades a dining hall full of frozen figures in masquerade masks as he walks along the elaborately decorated table that spans the length of the hall. Within the building's walls, Aoki is transformed into a full-fledged cyborg by a mass of vagrants crowding within the inner confines.

The new video comes hot off the announcement that the grammy-nominated DJ and producer will serve as a soundtrack curator and executive producer of The Nerdist's debut feature film "The Hive," a film that promises to deliver love, zombies, terror and amnesia.
