Tiësto has thrown in his two cents over Simon Cowell's American Idol show for DJ's called "Ultimate DJ." The Dutch producer doesn't think too highly about the show's future. With EDM's propulsion into mainstream culture and DJ becoming the trendiest job title you can hold right now, it's no surprise anymore that everyone under the sun from Paris Hilton to Joe Jonas wants to get in on the action, and it was only a matter of time before someone decided the DJ needed their own talent competition show.

Fatboy Slim already told Cowell to "Fuck off" when approached about participating in the show, and Tiësto is giving the American Idol judge some flack over the concept as well, stating:

"I don't think it will ever work. The vocal aspect is what's missing. When you see someone sing good or bad that will never get boring. But you need an hour to DJ, not two minutes on TV."

Luckily for Simon, the NERVO sisters have his back after being approached about participating in the show, offering a much less critical view.

"He said anyway we would like to be involved (in the show) we can be. I've never watched a reality TV judges show, but they said you could judge or mentor but we haven't decided. He's a marketing genius and wants to get involved in this scene. It's all about the DJ talent and the music and submitting tunes."
