Avicii, Hardwell, Moby & More To Judge International Songwriting Competition
The judges for the 2015 International Songwriting Competition have been announced. This year's judges panel is stacked with talented artists representing just about every corner of the music universe.
Notable judges include Avicii, Hardwell, Moby, Lorde, Boyz II Men, Far East Movement, Bill Withers, Sean Paul, Keane, Darryl McDaniels of Run D.M.C., Bastille, Kesha and Daddy Yankee. There's so many talented artists on the judge panel this year that its hard to keep track!
The International Songwriting Competition will be giving out over $150,000 in cash and prizes this year. Depending on the category, song submissions are judged on the following criteria: Creativity, originality, lyrics (excluded for songs without lyrics), melody, arrangement and overall likability.
Last year's grand prize winner was Vance Joy for his song "Riptide" which can now be heard on most major radio stations at least once per day. The official music video for "Riptide" has garnered over 78 million views since its release; check it out below.
