Earlier in the week, trance producer Armin Van Buuren released a video going behind the scenes of his collaboration with electronic music legend Jean Michel-Jarre. This weekend, their track "Stardust" saw its world premiere at Tomorrowland in Boom, Belgium to hundreds of thousands of fans.

The Dutch producer delivered on his promise, taking the mic during his live set to ask:

"Tomorrowland, who's ready for some new music? This is the world premiere of a man that I've admired since I was a little kid."

"Stardust" opens with a cosmic arpeggiated melody, undoubtedly heavily influenced by Jarre's signature melodies. The drums kick in shortly thereafter, blending van Buuren's high energy trance rhythms perfectly with the awe-inspiring synth work.

"Stardust" finds the perfect middle ground between both artists, showcasing their strengths and combining them in all the right ways.
