Flying Lotus Joins Hannibal Buress For New Comedy Central Show

Flying Lotus just announced that he'll be serving as the Resident DJ on Hannibal Buress' new television show Why? on Comedy Central. According to his tweet announcement, the LA-based experimental electronic DJ and producer will be playing new music every night on the show, which airs on Wednesdays at 10:30pm EST on Comedy Central.

Each episode also features a musical guest. For the season premiere, Buress hosted Open Mike, who performed "Ziggy Stardust" featuring bassist Thundercat with help from Flying Lotus.

In addition to releasing his sixth studio album You're Dead in 2014, FlyLo has also been known to team up with Cartoon Network, creating bumper music for their Adult Swim channel. For more on what Flying Lotus has been up to, check out his music video for "Coronus The Terminator" here.
