7 Collaborations We're Desperately Waiting To Be Released
EDM is thriving right now, and every day we hear of more and more artists working together to expand their sound and build the scene. From big name collaborations to hits from up-and-comers, there's a lot to look forward to in the coming year.Check out 7 unreleased collaborations from some of EDM's biggest artists:
1. Diplo x Troyboi
Troyboi first premiered his trap-heavy collaboration with Diplo at Something Wonderful earlier in 2015, and it was a festival anthem from the get-go. There's no confirmed release date for this collab as of yet, but we are anxiously waiting to get this little number in our playlists.
2. Skrillex x Jauz
JAUZ has wrestled his way to the spotlight at an incredibly hastened pace, and his growth as an artist is exemplified by his unreleased collaboration with Skrillex and Fatman Scoop. It's been in his festival tracklists for months, and we hope that the bass-heavy hybrid track makes its way into rotation soon.
3. Deadmau5 x Kaskade
It's been quite sometime since Deadmau5 and Kaskade last collaborated on a song together, but considering their first collaborative hit "I Remember" has had such a lasting impact on electronic music, we can expect this new single to change the game again.
4. What So Not x Skrillex
It's safe to say that Skrillex is one of the hardest working artists in the game today. Hs non-stop calendar of releases is unparalleled, and there's always a new collab we're looking forward to. RL Grime gave some lucky Berliners a rare glimpse of Skrillex's latest collab with What So Not, and even from the rip it sounds like a surefire hit.
5. Avicii x Brandon Flowers of The Killers
Avicii has steadily been working on new singles throughout his time off tour, and with the recent release of "Waiting For Love" with Martin Garrix, it's safe to say he has some more tracks up his sleeve. One of these tracks is a collaboration with the lead singer of The Killers, Brandon Flowers.
6. Diplo x Skrillex
Even with the release of their first full album, Jack Ü still has some tracks yet to be released. "Shark Tank" was first premiered in 2013 at the Mad Decent Block Party, but it still has yet to see the light of day. Considering how long it's been, it's unsure if it will make it out into the public eye, but we'll patiently be waiting until it does.
7. Dillon Francis x Calvin Harris
With Dillon Francis' long-awaited moombahton EP set for release this summer, we've slowly been getting small tastes of what's in store. One of these treats is a collaboration between Dillon Francis and Calvin Harris, and the moombahton hit is everything we'd want from the two dynamic producers.
