Whether you've been following deadmau5 on Twitter for years or you just jumped on the bandwagon, you have most likely seen at least a few tweets from the Canadian producing about his new music studio which is currently under construction at his home in Toronto.

As fans know, Joel Zimmerman has promised that as soon as the studio is completed in October or November of this year, he is going into "studio winter hibernation" with the goal of finishing a new studio album by January 2016.

Needless to say, the EDM world is hoping for a smooth and timely completion of the construction, and yesterday we received an update on the progress of the studio. Zimmerman posted renderings of his soon-to-be new studio which reveal roughly what the space will look like.

deadmau5 has been keeping himself busy in the meantime with festival and comic con appearances and of course - his favorite online forum for trolling - twitter.

Zimmerman event accepted a fan challenge over twitter recently, responding with a track he whipped up in the unconventional alternating time signatures per the fan's parameters for the music production exercise.
