A new petition from Respect The Rocks has surfaced on Change.org, lobbying to have the noise restrictions that have been placed on Colorado's iconic Red Rocks Amphitheater lifted. The petition states that the noise limitations discriminate against EDM events, and aruges that the neighboring houses who have complained about noise in the past were built after the venue and thus don't have a right to make those complaints.

The following is a quote from the petition about the unfairness of the noise limitations.

"This is an important issue as the noise restrictions placed on Red Rocks Park and Amphitheater are detrimental to the music experience of any event patron at the venue. These noise restrictions also unfairly target Electronic Dance Music Events, as these events tend to have large amounts of low frequency bass sounds that travel further than higher frequency sounds, thus being more present in the homes near the venue."
