Back in June, Zedd announced that he was teaming up with Guitar Center to find the next great electronic musician and producer. The "Cover Me" contest received over 13,000 submissions as aspiring producers tried their hand at remixing Zedd's True Colors single "I Want You To Know" featuring Selena Gomez for the chance to win the opportunity of a lifetime.

Out of all of these submissions, however, there could only be one winner. The producer that caught the attention of the multi-platinum, Grammy award -inning producer was Seattle native Tyler Acord, aka Scout.

"I was blown away when I heard the Scout remix! It's super musical, sonically really interesting, very unique and has everything I'm looking for when I'm looking for a remix to sign! BIG fan of it... In fact, the track impressed me so much that I brought it to my label and I'm excited to announce that it's going to be released on Interscope!" - Zedd

As the winner of the "Cover Me" contest, Scout will be receiving a career-launching prize package that includes a meeting with Interscope Records, a mentoring session with Blood Company management, features in Insomniac and DJ Mag USA, studio time, new gear, a hefty $10,000 cash and a VIP experience at Nocturnal Wonderland Festival.

Listen to Scout's winning remix below, and keep an eye out for the official release on September 4 through Interscope Records.
