A petition launched back in July pleaded for Bassnectar to "start a three night camping festival with a two and a half hour long set each night with no sound restrictions." It garnered over 10,000 signatures! Today, the bass lord himself officially announced plans for Bass Center 2016, revealing the expansion of the event into a two-day camping festival.

The two-day festival will feature limited camping villages, Pirate Radio, Cannibass, food trucks and what is shaping up to be an impressive lineup with some heavy-hitters. In addition to two extended sets from Bassnectar, the fest boasts headliners Porter Robinson, Flux Pavilion, Wu-Tang Clan, Flying Lotus, AlunaGeorge and Lupe Fiasco as well as Minnesota, G Jones, Dabin and Thriftworks, with more to be announced.

Bass Center 2016 will mark the first Nectar event to offer camping, and it's all going down July 29th and 30th at Dick's Sporting Goods Park in Commerce City, Colorado. Pre-sales start January 13th at 10:00AM MT with public sales January 15th at 10:00AM MT.

Fans will be able to choose from single or two-day general admission passes for either field or standing, starting at only $45. Fans looking for transportation to and from a hotel or a fully-equipped tent with bedding and furniture can also look into purchasing VIP Field passes, Premium VIP Experiences or travel packages.
