Since it was founded in 2011 by CEO Mike Darlington and COO Ari Paunonen, Monstercat has grown to become one of the most highly regarded independent labels in electronic dance music.

Based in Vancouver, Canada, the label releases new music three times a week on a non-exclusive, single-track basis and releases a compilation album every thirty tracks. Check out their full roster here, or get to know their artists by tuning in to their hour-long podcast every Tuesday on the Monstercat Twitch and YouTube channels.

The label already hosts showcases in music hubs like Los Angeles, Austin, Seattle, San Francisco, Vancouver, and Toronto. On October 20th, Monstercat will be hosting its first showcase at the renowned Amsterdam Dance Event, marking the label's first-ever event in Europe.

Their inaugural European party will feature performances from some of EDM's hottest acts and Monstercat favorites including JAUZ, Conro, Feint, Going Quantum, Hush, Rootkit, Snavs and WRLD!

The Monstercat Label ADE Showcase takes place October 20th at the centrally located venue De Balie alongside Run The Trap Nights and Trap Nation. The event is already officially sold out, but limited tickets will be available at the door! For more info, head over to amsterdam-dance-event.nl.
