"This is the Weirdest Interview I've Ever Done" - Pierce Fulton [VIDEO]
Pierce Fulton wanted to explain his latest project, even if that meant things were going to get a little weird.
On July 22, 2016, the Vermont producer released a new EP entitled Borrowed Lives via Seeking Blue. It is the Vermont producer's first release on the MrSuicideSheep record label, and it also happens to be a uniquely special project for Pierce Fulton.
Pierce released a follow-up video today in hopes of explaining the EP's significance while also clearing up any confusion from the sudden shift in sound and direction.
"This collection of songs really means a lot to me because it's the first time that I'm singing, writing, producing and I'm really doing everything that goes into one body of work. And for the first time, I have music that really feels like my own."
The video that follows is a little out there and yet endearing in its honesty and earnestness. We're reminded of the personal experience, perspective and point of view that goes into making music, not to mention the uncertainty and fears that have to be overcome.
As Pierce narrates the backstory behind this project, we encounter multiple Pierce personalities, mini "magic" M&M'S, and a pet fish named Beau.
"...for the first time in a long time, I don't know what's going to happen, but I'm really excited."

I'm a storyteller at heart, but music makes my world go round.
