Vicetone Delivers Remix of The Weeknd & Daft Punk's 'Starboy' [FREE DL]

In August 2016, rumors circulated that The Weeknd was spending time in the studio with electronic music's most iconic French duo. Almost exactly a month later, the rumors became reality.

On September 22, 2016 via XO and Republic Records, The Weeknd released the title track of his upcoming album Starboy, a collaboration with none other than Daft Punk.

The collaboration marked Daft Punk's first official release since their 2013 Grammy-sweeping album Random Access Memories. The only other new music since then was the 2014 unreleased single with Jay Z "Computerized," which was made for the Tron: Legacy soundtrack but then scrapped and left off the soundtrack.

"Starboy" debuted as a Top 40 hit, and the official video was immediately nominated for Best Video at the 2016 MTV European Music Awards. On October 1st, The Weeknd appeared as the musical guest on Saturday Night Live, where he performed "Starboy" for the first time live.

The single has now received the remix treatment from the Dutch DJ/producer duo Vicetone.
