Carl Cox Picks His Top 10 Space Ibiza Classics

Carl Cox recently ended his 15-year long residency at Space Ibiza, ending an era. As BBC wrote, "The two are as synonymous as the Louvre and the Mona Lisa, Mickey Mouse and Disney World, Old Trafford and Sir Alex." In honor of the this decade and a half long partnership coming to an end, DJ Mag asked the legend to pick his top 10 Ibiza classics.

On the brink of Space’s final ever Closing Fiesta, DJ Mag Ibiza asks Carl Cox to list the top ten tracks that will remind him of the famous super-club forever. From Daft Punk to Booka Shade, here’s the top ten tunes closest to Coxy’s heart...

Joris Voorn
(Rejected, 2011)
“This is the track that started it all for Joris! It’s this massive, piano-driving tech-house monster, and it was breaking all dancefloors.”

Tomaz & Filterheadz
(INTEC, 2002)
“This track was all about the builds and drops. Space dancefloor was always lights-out until the track builds back up and then… BAM! There it is!”

Danny Marquez & Ferry B
(Defected, 2004)
“The most perfect soundtrack for your night out on the terrace at Space. When you hear this you will be smiling, clapping your hands and shaking your hips.”
